As a kid, I’ve always been into doing activities to keep myself occupied since I didn’t like to just sit around and do nothing. I was the type of kid to pick up hobbies one after another because I would get bored easily (Till this day). I used to play dress-up as a little girl where I would throw on the most outrageous outfits and act like I was a fashion model in my mom's closet because It was fun to me trying on different clothes and accessories that I usually wouldn't wear. Fashion has always been something I’ve been interested in because of how people can express themselves through clothing and don’t pay any mind to what others think of them. As I got older, I started looking more into fashion by creating jewelry and clothing. Once I showed my family and friends my small creations, they told me that I should start selling my pieces which I considered myself too but I wasn't too sure of it at the time. As I entered my junior year in high school, I started thinking about my career path and what I see myself doing in the future. I thought to myself, since I’ve always been into fashion and creating my own attire, I figured that starting my own clothing brand would best fit me. It took nearly a whole year to plan and settle down coming up with one because I wasn't too confident and wasn't sure if I was able to manage one alone. To wrap this up, now that I’ve grown and matured, entering my senior year, I discovered that being involved in the fashion industry best suits my career choice because I’ve always been passionate about being unique and expressing myself through what I love, so it’s best that I continue to take that route. Releasing my very own handmade clothing brand at the age of 17 is one of my biggest achievements that I’m highly proud of myself for and always will be. I’m forever grateful for my family and friends who helped me throughout the way and encouraged me to keep pushing forward. Without them, I probably wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in today and I'm excited to see where this business takes me.
